The convention of Nepal Tarun Dal, a sister organization of Congress, will be held on November 26-28. According to the directive committee's proposal, it has been decided today to extend the term of office of Tarun Dal's central committee until the same date to complete the mandate on that date.

Congress General Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel informed that a small management committee will be formed from within the existing working committee of Tarun Dal to facilitate preparation and management. The steering committee has been given all the responsibilities on behalf of the party to complete the convention. 

Similarly, the 80-hour fast to death started at the party central office Sanepa demanding the convention to be held on time has been broken today by Deputy Chairman Purna Bahadur Khadka and General Minister Gagan Kumar Thapa.  

The meeting of the Congress Central Working Committee has been going on since June 16. In the meeting presided over by Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba today, central members Shyam Kumar Ghimire, Mohan Bahadur Basnet, Shiv Prasad Humagain, Karna Bahadur Budha, Govinda Bahadur Shah, Rajendra Kumar KC, E Mohan Acharya, Rangmati Shahi, Kantika Sejuwal, Vidya Devi Timilsina, invited provincial chairpersons Uddhav Thapa (Koshi), Krishna Prasad Yadav (Madhes), Indra Bahadur Baniyan. (Bagamati), Amarsingh Pun (Lumbini), Lalitjung Shahi (Karnali) and Bir Bahadur Balayar (Sudurpaschim) expressed their opinion. 

Chief Secretary Poudel informed that the meeting of the working committee will resume at 12:30 pm on June 19th at 12:30 p.m. as opinions on various proposals are continuing.
