The parliamentarians of the National Assembly have objected to the addition of the word "except" in the "Federal Civil Service Bill, 2080" passed by the State Order Committee of the House of Representatives.
In today's meeting of the National Assembly, they said that the act of adding unnecessary words was done and it was against the constitution. At zero time of the meeting, MP Shri Krishna Prasad Adhikari pointed out that unnecessary words like 'except' were added in the provision of two-year cooling period for employees in the Civil Bill and termed it as a serious irregularity and unfair act. He emphasized that a parliamentary inquiry committee should be formed on the people involved in such activities.
Member of Parliament Savitri Malla also said that unauthorized changes in the Civil Service Bill were an insult to Parliament. Parliamentarian Krishna Bahadur Rokaya stated that the power supply in Rukum West has been interrupted for two months and the people's life has become difficult due to the lack of necessary initiatives to restore the service and asked for a solution as soon as possible.
Likewise, MP Ghanshyam Rizal pointed out that due to the absence of MRI services at the National Trauma Center and the lack of ICU services, the patients have to be taken to private hospitals and drew the attention of the government to add at least 50 ICU beds in the trauma center. In the
meeting, MP Rukmini Koirala pointed out that all the work could not be done by using the powers given by the constitution and stressed that relevant laws, laws and regulations should be made and sent to the provincial and local levels.
