One person died in a jeep accident last night in Falewas Municipality-8 Nepane of Parbat. Ramprasad Sapkota, Police Inspector of the District Police Office, informed that 39-year-old Dol Bahadur Chhetri of Falewas-8 Thanamaula died when the jeep numbered G1J 697, which was going to Falamkhani from Lamaekhola, overturned.

According to him, the jeep fell down about 150 meters from the road. Chhetri, who was seriously injured in the accident, died during treatment at Gandaki Medical College Pokhara.

34-year-old Vikram Sunar of Phalewas-7, 33-year-old Suraj Sunar of Ward No. 8 Thanamaula were injured in the accident. Both the injured people are being treated at Gandaki Medical College Pokhara. Police Inspector Sapkota informed that their condition is safe and the cause of the accident is being investigated.
