The details of Nepalis abroad are now on the 'Shram Sansar App'

With the aim of collecting information and details of Nepalis in labor destination countries, the 'Shram Sansar App', which was created to collect the details of the Nepali diaspora around the world, has been put into operation from today.

Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba and Labor Employment and Social Security Minister Sharat Singh Bhandari inaugurated the app on Thursday from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

After the Nepalese who are abroad register their details in this app, it will be easy for the Nepali Mission and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Labor of the related country to get information about where, in what condition and how many Nepalis are there. Once the

information is received, it will be easier to provide necessary consular services in the countries where Nepalis are and to rescue those who are in trouble immediately. Foreign Minister Rana said that many Nepalis who are in the field of foreign employment have come to the ministry with complaints of being cheated, suffering and facing various problems due to lack of information.

Minister Rana also said that it will be easier for those who are working in the destination country without a work permit, as it has been decided to provide a 'legalization work permit' by issuing a work permit from the Nepali embassy of the related country.

'Especially for those who have arrived in different countries without a work permit and are currently working there, for their protection and safety, this 'legalization of work permit' arrangement has been arranged through the relevant embassy. This does not mean encouraging those who go illegally,' he said.

Labor Minister Bhandari  He said that the system of 'Shram Sansar App' and legalization of labor permit will provide great relief in the field of foreign employment. He said that this will provide great assistance to the Nepalese workers who are not only informed about who and where and how many Nepalis are, but also those who are living without papers, who do not get work permit when going to the relevant labor destination and who are deprived of basic service facilities due to various other reasons.

This app, launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, has been arranged to be updated by the Nepalese embassy of the related country. In that app, the Nepalese who are in that country will have to fill their details.
