At present, the influence of Monsoon air is present across the country. According to the Water and Weather Forecast Division, it will be partly to mostly cloudy across the country this afternoon.

Thunderstorm and  Chance of light to moderate rain with thunder. Heavy to very heavy rain will occur at a couple of places in Koshi and Sudurpaschim provinces, the department said. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall at some places in the highlands and Himalayan areas of all provinces. According to the

department, it will be partly cloudy to partly cloudy in the rest of the hilly areas including Koshi, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Province tonight. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places in other hilly areas including Koshi, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces and some places in the rest of the region.

There will be heavy rain in one or two places of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. According to the department, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall in some places of high hills and Himalayan areas of all provinces.
