There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in a few places in the high-hills and mountainous areas of the country. According to the department, it will be partly to mostly cloudy tonight across the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places of Koshi Pradesh, Bagmati Pradesh, Gandaki Pradesh, Lumbini Pradesh and Sudurpaschim Pradesh and few places of the remaining provinces.

Monsoon winds are currently affecting some areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki provinces and a few areas of the eastern region of Lumbini province . Also, there is a partial effect of western wind and local wind in the western part of the country . According to the division, there is also a partial effect of the low pressure area formed in the area around West Bengal of India.
