Five main highways have been blocked due to incessant rains at various places across the country, while three highways are operating one-way.

According to the police headquarters, Arani highway in Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality-2 Kodari, Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality-3 Larcha, Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality-2 Koplad of Sindhupalchokkak in Bagmati Province has been completely blocked due to rain.

Similarly, Bheri Corridor of Tripurasundari Municipality 1 Chhalghat in Dolpa District of Karnali Province and Gokuleshwar Khalanga Highway in Mahakali Municipality Ward No. 5 of Darchula District of Sudurpaschim Province has been blocked.

Similarly, three main roads which were blocked due to rain have been operated in one way. Jumla-Mugu road in Jumla district, Kaligandaki corridor in Gulmi district and Ravi-Rake-Bhedetar road in Dhankuta district are operated one-way.
