Bishnu Prasad Paudel, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Nepal Communist Party (UML) has said that the leadership is capable of solving the problems seen in the party. Addressing the meeting of the UML public organization mechanism here today, he said that even if there are some problems in the UML, they will be solved through laws and legislation.
UML vice-president Paudel said that among the contemporary political parties, UML is the party with the least internal problems. 'The whole party is nowhere to be found. You don't find a party like washed radish or Gangajal,' he said, 'but UML is a party with less internal problems. The current leadership is capable of solving such problems as are seen in the party.'
Vice President Paudel informed that the party is preparing for the legislative convention of the party. He said, "We will decide on a method to legally correct the problems seen in the operation of the party organization from the previous legislative convention until now," he said. We will send these subjects to the congress representatives in advance and ask them to enrich them further.'
He instructed the people's organization not to make unnecessary guesses and divisions on the issue of party leadership, not even the legislative convention. "Let's not discuss the issue of leadership before the legislative convention," he said. There is no problem regarding leadership in UML.' Vice President Paudel said that everything should be done to break the laxity seen in the party and mass organization.
