Construction of the Kakdavitta-Laukhi section of the 'Asian Highway', which has been started with the aim of connecting Asian countries through road network, has started. According to Jagat Prajapati, head of the Project West Section Itahari office, the work of one lane black paper has started from Lakshmimarg on Tuesday.
About 23 percent of the work has been completed within 15 months of the construction contract. Under the Asian Highway No. 2, 120 km road from Kakdvitta to Laukhi is said to be upgraded, but currently work is being done on only 95.76 km. Work is being done by dividing it into east and west sections.
The target is to lay at least 10 kilometers of black roads within the current financial year. According to Sunil Babu Pant, head of the fire department of the eastern section of the project, 21 percent of the work has been completed in the eastern section. Also in the eastern section The target is to make 10 kilometers of black paper in the current year. 50 And 70 culverts have been constructed in the west.
This highway will be 50 meters wide in the market area, 24 meters wide in the forest and 33 meters wide in the rural areas. The construction started on January 19, 2080 with the loan support of the Asian Development Bank.
