Maoist General Secretary Dev Gurung has alleged that the current problems in the country are caused by the totalitarian tendencies of the state power. Speaking at an interactive program on the issue of publicizing the disappeared citizens in Kathmandu on Tuesday, General Secretary Gurung alleged that the leaders of the state are active in opposing peace and reconciliation.

He also expressed concern that there is a serious conspiracy to make Nepal a strategic playground by making the country a conflict zone. In the name of party competition, the parties in power are advancing with the mindset of destroying and destroying each other.

General Secretary Gurung commented that the totalitarians and monopolists are proceeding with the idea that they will not allow peace to be established anywhere, and that it is time for everyone to be aware.

General Secretary Gurung's statement

'The reason for the development of the current problem in the country is because the leadership of the state power and the core team within the state power have fallen into totalitarianism . Therefore, the totalitarians and monopolists are moving in the direction of not allowing peace to be established anywhere, not allowing reconciliation, not allowing consensus to be established and one to replace the other . And by making Nepal a conflict zone, it is trying to make Nepal a sports venue from a strategic point of view. This way of thinking has created problems. It is necessary to review whether the leaders can fight against this. The ruling leaders could not be freed from the desire of totalitarian monopoly . Since then, in the name of party competition, it has been seen that one is going towards the direction of killing and destroying the other.'
