CPN General Secretary Netra Vikram Chand has accused the state of being insensitive to the issue of missing citizens. In an interaction program on the question of publicizing the missing citizens held in Kathmandu on Tuesday, General Secretary Chand accused the state of neglecting the families of the missing by not taking responsibility even after 19 years of the peace process.
Chand remarked that the repeated formation and dissolution of commissions of inquiry into missing citizens is a sign of political conspiracy and fraud. "In these 19 years, this state appeared to be insensitive to the peace process."
