The general secretary of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Nepal, Mohan Vaidya, has improved significantly. He is currently undergoing treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj.

Vaidya was admitted to the hospital about a month ago after developing a chest infection. According to General Secretary Vaidya's daughter Chetna Sharma, his health has improved significantly. Sharma said, 'After almost a month of treatment at BP Smriti Hospital and Teaching in Bashundhara, his health has improved significantly.'

Vaidya was treated in intensive care unit (ICU) for 15 days. Currently, he has been transferred to the ward.
