President Ramchandra Paudel has praised the role played by the Public Service Commission in selecting qualified, ethical and responsible employees.

Addressing a special ceremony held in Kathmandu on Sunday on the occasion of the Commission's 75th anniversary and Diamond Jubilee, President Paudel mentioned that the Commission has been selecting clean and skilled manpower for the permanent administration of the country for more than seven decades.

The President has asked the Public Service Commission to be more alert and careful in selecting employees who are motivated, have high morals, are disciplined and have goodwill towards the nation.

He said, 'It is commendable that the commission, which has the constitutional responsibility of selecting the most qualified staff to remain as a permanent government in the government body that runs the country, has been active for seven and a half decades considering its basic principles, hygiene and efficiency as the main basis. While performing its role, the Commission needs to be careful to fulfill its duties, obligations and responsibilities as a center of justice and hope and trust for all the present generation and the future generation. We should not forget the meaning that only employees who are motivated, highly moral, disciplined, responsible and have goodwill towards the nation can perform effectively in the country.

Since the provision of inclusive posts in the civil service in Nepal, the President says that it is a positive aspect of the commission to be successful in recommending candidates from various inclusive groups such as women, tribal tribes, Madhesi, Dalits, disabled and backward areas.
