Congress Chief Whip Shyam Kumar Ghimire has said that it is not appropriate for RSVP to teach moral lessons. During the emergency session of the House of Representatives on Sunday, he objected that Ravi Lamichhane, who is in jail after facing 5 cases, is mentioned in the records of the Election Commission as the chairman of the RSVP.

He urged the parliamentarians of RSVP who seek ethics from others to present an example of ethics from within themselves. Even now, Ravi Lamichhane, who is in jail, has 5 cases against him in the Election Commission's list. He is still the chairman in the records of the Election Commission. Can that party teach moral lessons to anyone or not? I have this question,' said Ghimir.

He says that even the leader of the parliamentary party of RSVP has not come out. He further said, 'Ravi Lamichhane is still the leader of the parliamentary party of RSVP in the Parliament Secretariat. How much will it be possible for the party to keep the same person who has been suspended as the leader of the parliamentary party to teach others morals? How fair is it?'

The RSVP has been obstructing the Parliament since May 13, demanding the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar, who is embroiled in the visit visa case, and a high-level investigation committee. Parliamentarians of RSWP are also shouting slogans in the House of Representatives meeting on Sunday. However, Speaker Devraj Ghimire has proceeded with the meeting amid the opposition of RSVP.
