As the 19-day lockout by the student body of the ruling Congress, Navy Sangh, continues in Tribhuvan University, partial professors have locked out again. University Vice Chancellor, Rector, Registrar and Service Commission have been locked down.

The university has become a 'hostage' due to the additional lockout by some professors on Friday. On Sunday, the main administrative office of the university could not be opened .

The university has started the process of appointing assistant professors, associate professors and professors through interviewing those active in research through the fast track method. Expressing dissatisfaction with the process, the president of the partial professorship, Gokul Lechvi Limbu, co-president Rajendra Acharya, general secretary Baikunth Thapa, etc. It is alleged by some professors that they are going to appoint relatives and relatives as teachers from the fast track that has not been practiced yet. 

According to the recommendation of the Executive Council of the Tertiary Service Commission, 120 professors fast  track published an advertisement in the last week of May . In 2076 and 2078, the University appointed some associate professors and professors through the University Grants Commission. Vice-Chancellor Khadg KC said that this method has been decided to bring the manpower skilled in research into the university service. 

The partial professor has put forward the demand to have a contract according to the agreement made on July 18, 2081 . Instead of implementing the agreement, they have expressed their displeasure saying that partial professors are being replaced. As there are 2000 part-time professors, it is mentioned in the statement that their professional rights and security should be demanded.
