Congress MP Dr. Shekhar Koirala commented that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's speech against corruption could not be implemented in practice. Addressing a program held in Kathmandu on Friday, Leader Koirala commented that the Prime Minister's statement that 'I do not do corruption, I do not allow it to be done' has not been practically implemented.

Also raising questions about the Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission, Koirala commented that impunity has been encouraged by the commission's tendency to punish some in the same case and give immunity to others.

'Now the Prime Minister says - I do not do corruption, nor do I allow it to happen. It doesn't happen by speaking . No one is going to listen . No one listens. Can't believe it, now we have to start ending corruption in a brutal way. The authority arrests someone, in the same case it has left others. It seems that it promotes impunity. The country does not run like this anymore. There is no good governance at all,' Koirala said .

He says that the economic, administrative and international credibility of the country is in crisis. He accused the government of continuously failing to increase the wages of the workers  .
