Monsoon, which entered Nepal 15 days earlier and stopped, has spread to four more provinces on Thursday.
According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division, today monsoon has spread to various areas of Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini along with the rest of the Koshi region. Meteorologist Govind Jha of the Division informed that monsoon has spread in some areas of Madhes Province, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces and in few areas of Lumbini Province.
Before this, on the night of 15th June, monsoon entered Nepal. After that, the monsoon went to East Asia. Monsoon, which did not spread from Koshi, has spread to other four provinces after 14 days of its entry today. He said it will take a few more days to spread to other provinces. The earliest date for monsoon to enter is June 13, i.e. tomorrow Friday.
