Discussions are being held between the main opposition Maoists, opposition parties RSVP, United Socialists and Aam Janata Party regarding the ongoing obstruction in the Federal Parliament House of Representatives regarding the visit visa case.
The House of Representatives meeting has been called for 1 pm on Wednesday . Before that, the meeting of the opposition parties is being held. In the meeting, Maoist Deputy General Secretary Varshman Pun informed that the five-point proposal submitted by RSVP to the ruling Congress on May 26 was being discussed. In the
meeting, MPs from opposition parties including Hitraj Pandey, Chief Whip from Maoist, Santosh Periyar, Rajendra Pandey of United Samajwadi and Prabhu Sah of AJP are participating.
Pun informed that this meeting will determine a common opinion on the proposal made by the RSVP and discuss further with the ruling parties Congress and UML.
RSVP had submitted a proposal to the Congress, including the formation of a committee to investigate the visit visa issue. Earlier, the opposition parties including Maoists, RSVP and others have been demanding the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Ukhtar over the visit visa issue.
