International Sports Day is being celebrated around the world today with the slogan 'Choose sport every day'. On the occasion of this day, accepting sports as the backbone of overall development of children, all stakeholders are called upon to promote, protect and give priority to it.
Sports are not only entertainment but also a common language among people of all age groups. It promotes social inclusion, mental health. Moreover, for children, play plays an important role in building relationships, solving problems and developing various skills.
According to Article 31 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, play is considered as a fundamental right of every child. It has been proven that game-based education in the education system has made the learning process more effective.
