Journalist Dilbhushan Pathak has said that the government is trying to coerce him because he published the news. After the arrest warrant was issued by the district court in Kathmandu, journalist Pathak submitted a petition to the Press Council of Nepal and said that serious suspicions have arisen as they are trying to prosecute him under the Electronic Crimes Act.

On the basis of a complaint filed with the Central Cyber ​​Bureau of Nepal Police regarding a content aired three weeks ago on a YouTube channel named Taftak with Dilbhushan Pathak, the police have obtained an arrest warrant from the court. According to Pathak, the concerned police officer did not give any clear information about this and did not reveal anything about the complaint. 

'If there is any disagreement, complaint or difference of opinion regarding the content I have broadcast, first of all, if you are not satisfied with it, you have to complain to the Press Council, and the Press Council itself has to investigate and investigate it. On top of that, the concerned authorities are trying to forcefully arrest all at once without giving any information about the complaint and accusation, which has raised many questions along with suspicion,' Pathak said in the petition. 

Journalist Pathak has also sought help from the Press Council as he has not received information about the allegations and questions raised against him. He further said in the petition, 'Until now, I have not received any formal information about the complaint filed against me, the allegations made against me and the questions raised, so I request them to request information from the relevant authorities and authorities and help them. Along with this, I also request you to take necessary steps to stop the coercion that is being done by the government on the basis of broadcasting the news content.' 

Based on the complaint filed by Jayveer Singh Deuba, Cyber ​​Bureau of Nepal Police issued an arrest warrant against Pathak on Tuesday.

Jayveer is the son of Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba. Journalist Pathak through his program 'Tough Talk' about Jayveer Singh's involvement in the purchase and sale of shares of Hilton Hotel, 'Jayveer Deuba's money in Hilton!' Video content was presented on the title.

Jayveer filed a complaint with the Cyber ​​Bureau saying that Pathak has committed character assassination on this issue.
