Communication and Information Technology Minister Prithvisubba Gurung announced the decision made by the Council of Ministers meeting on May 26 through a press conference today.
Minister Gurung, who is also the spokesperson of the government, said that the government has decided to approve the transfer of Lamkichuha Hospital in Kailali from 15 beds to 50 beds to be operated by the state government. He informed that the government has decided to give permission to Dr. Jai Bahadur Tandon, a member of the National Planning Commission, to participate in the 'Muni World Expo-2025', which will be held in Israel from June 31 to June 6, 2082.
It has been decided to approve Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel to participate in the annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank to be held in Beijing from June 10 to 12.
Minister Gurung informed that the Council of Ministers has decided to approve the discussion agenda of the 13th meeting of the Nepal-China Sijang (Tibet) Trade Facilitation Committee to be held in Lhasa from June 2nd to 6th and to form a negotiation team under the coordination of the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply to participate in the said meeting.
Similarly, he said that it was decided to approve the principle for drafting the bill for amending and unifying the laws related to construction business, to transfer one general of the Nepalese army, to accept the resignation of one assistant Rathi, to promote and post four major soldiers to the rank of general, and to approve the foreign visit of one Rathi.
In the decision of the cabinet, it is mentioned that the principle for drafting the bill on the protection of ancient monuments is approved, the center of Shantinagar Rural Municipality, Dang, is changed from Ward No. 4 Chiraghat to Ward No. 4 Jumlekula, and Mahalakshmi Municipality, Lalitpur, Ward No. 4 is changed from Kamalpokhri to Ward No. 8 Luvhu Devisthan.
Minister Gurung said that it is the government's decision to promote Dr. Keshar Bahadur Dhakal and Dr. Shrikrishna Shrestha to the position of twelfth level, additional health secretary of Nepal Health Service and to approve the Nepal Quality (Certification Mark) (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2082.
