At present, there is influence of western and local winds in the western and central parts of the country. According to the Division of Water and Weather Forecasting, the influence of Monsoon air is in most parts of Koshi Province.

According to the division, it will be partly to mostly cloudy in the hilly parts of the country including Koshi and Lumbini regions this afternoon. The weather will be clear to partly cloudy. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places in the hilly parts of the country including those provinces. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in one or two places of high hills and Himalayan parts of the country. 

Similarly, the weather will remain clear to partly cloudy in the hilly parts of the country including Koshi, Lumbini and Gandaki provinces tonight. Similarly, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in one or two places in the high hills and Himalayan parts of Karnali Province, the department said.
