In Nepal, 15 days before the Sardar date, i.e. on 15th June, monsoon entered Koshi region.  But the monsoon has returned to East Asia from the Koshi region. Meteorologists say that due to the formation of a strong low pressure area in the East Asia region, the monsoon air has been absorbed from the Koshi of Nepal.

Meteorologist Govind Jha of the Department of Water and Meteorology, Weather Forecast Division said, 'Monsoon has moved to the East Asia region, mainly towards the Philippines, so it could not spread from Koshi, there is no possibility of the monsoon spreading for a few more days.'

Soon after the onset of monsoon, heavy rains and floods occurred in eastern Nepal on May 17. 100 meters of Fedi road located in Sangurigarhi rural municipality-6 of Dharandhankuta road section was swept away by the flood of the river. In Jhapa, 22 houses were flooded by Mykhola flood. It hasn't rained since. Also, local and westerly winds are active in the west and central regions. Meteorologist Jha says that the monsoon has not arrived as the western wind is still strong.

Monsoon winds come to Nepal carrying water vapor from the Bay of Bengal. But he said that it was weak. Because of this, the temperature is increasing all over the country. According to meteorologists, it is not a good sign that the monsoon 'breaks' like this. It may cause heavy rains in some places and droughts in others.

will be replaced from tomorrow

Meteorologist J said that from tomorrow, the change will start again in some areas of Nepal . According to him, now another low pressure system has formed in the Bay of Bengal.

He said that a low pressure area is also becoming in the central part of India. The effect of which will reach Nepal and cause rain. This year, the Department of Water and Meteorology has announced that there will be more rain and more heat. According to which the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority has implemented a disaster response plan.

Ram Bahadu KC, spokesperson of the authority, said that they are preparing with the estimate that about two million people will be affected and 10 percent of them may need relief and rescue.
