The body of armed police diver Suraj Saud, who went missing after drowning in the Koshi River in Hanumannagar Kankalini Municipality-1 of Saptari, has been found. According to DSP Shailendra Thapa, Assistant Spokesperson of Armed Police Force, Nepal, Saud's body was found on Sunday morning.

Experienced diver DSP Purushottam Bhandari's team from Kurintar  Saud's body was recovered from near gate number 55 of Koshi barrage. Saud No. 13 Gana Parsa was appointed and was working at No. 2 Chinnamasta Bahini headquarters. 

When it was decided to hold a state-level disaster preparedness program in the river on Saturday, Saud and No. 1 Shri Antu Gana Ilam were arrested while practicing. They got stuck in the water from the gate number 55/56 of the barrage to the north and went missing. Rajwanshi from Jhapa and Saud from Doti completed diver training in 2080 and 081.
