33.5 million corruption case against 18 including managing director of Telecom Pahadi

A corruption case has been filed against 18 people, including Managing Director Sangeeta Pahadi and former Managing Director Sunil Paudel, on charges of corruption in the billing of Nepal Telecom.

The Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission has filed a case against 18 including Pahadi and Poudel in the special court on Sunday.

The authority has demanded 334 million rupees against the defendant. Imprisonment and fine have also been demanded as per the violation. Similarly, in the billing case, the authority has also demanded to recover the amount equal to the loss due to the fact that 98.8 million rupees have been damaged. 

Aikhothi has asked Nepal Telecommunication Company Limited's  The then Managing Director Sunil Paudel and the then Chief Commercial Officer including the current Managing Director Sangeeta Pahadi  The then Chief Administrative Officer Pratibha Baidya,  Chief Financial Officer Rajendra Shrestha, Chief Operating Officer Jhawindralal Upadhyay, Director Vinita Shrestha,  Acting Director Amul Pradhan, Director Devendra Khatiwada,   The then Deputy Managers Rajiv Kumar KC, Santosh Kumar Shrestha, Naval Chaudhary,  Mukti Prasad Aryal,  A case has been filed against 18 including Hemprabha Ram Pratap Karna, Paramatma Bhattarai.
