Former Prime Minister and Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's political revenge has been smelled regarding the case against former Prime Minister and CPN-S Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal.

In a conversation with the media persons outside the parliament building on Friday, Speaker Dahal said that even though the case has been registered, Nepal itself and he is confident that the court will acquit him.

Dahal said that the latest step of the authority, which previously dismissed the decision of the Council of Ministers as not within its jurisdiction, has also raised questions. 'Madhavaji himself has said that he was surprised, he has also shown confidence in the court. He has expressed his belief that the court will do justice. He has expressed his belief that he will return soon after being acquitted. I also believe that he will be acquitted,' said President Dahal.  On the question that

is a case of political revenge, President Dahal said, 'There is a smell of political revenge of the Prime Minister. Some questions have been raised by the authority's actions. As the policy decision of any prime minister and cabinet is beyond the authority's jurisdiction, I myself have seen that the question raised to Baburam Bhattarai and Madhav Kumar Nepal regarding the Lalita Niwas case - the authority has written a letter asking the cabinet to do whatever it is that is not within our jurisdiction. Even now, Madhavji has made a policy decision. We have been saying to investigate all the Prime Ministers and Ministers after 2064, but the question is whether this is correct in terms of policy and theory or not. '
