President Ramchandra Paudel has said that we should stand firmly against caste untouchability and discrimination. On the occasion of the National Day for the Elimination of Caste Discrimination and Untouchability, he said that caste discrimination is a crime against social, moral and human dignity.
He emphasized on the need to strengthen the national unity with equality by increasing the spirit of mutual harmony, harmony and cooperation among all castes and communities in order to develop social awareness and equality among all and to make the democratic state system meaningful by standing firmly against caste untouchability and discrimination.
