Even political parties registered with the Election Commission as per the Constitution have complained to the Election Commission that they are protesting against the republic and secularism contrary to the preamble of the Constitution.

Advocate Premraj Silwal, a resident of Tokha Municipality-8 in Kathmandu, met the Acting Chief Commissioner of the Commission Ram Prasad Bhandari and the officials and registered the complaint on Monday. In the petition, it has been claimed that even the National Democratic Party led by Rajendra Lingden, which is registered with the commission and represented in the federal parliament, is demonstrating against the constitution and the republican constitutional system of Nepal and that it is against the constitution and the law.

Article 269 (1) of the Constitution states that a person committed to the same political ideology, philosophy and program can form and operate a political party under the authority of the law made under Clause (2) of Article 17 and propagate it, conduct or do other necessary work for that purpose in order to get the public's support and cooperation for the party's ideology, philosophy and program.

Similarly, even when amending the constitution in Article 274 of the constitution, since it is ensured that 'the constitution cannot be amended in such a way as to be detrimental to the sovereignty vested in the people', since the basic structure, character and constitutional arrangement of Nepal's constitution is clear that it is democratic, republican, the constitutional arrangement has been seriously violated even by the Rashtriya Prajatantra Party since 15th May 2082.

Advocate Silwal informed that a request has been made to the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers to send a written request to the commission on behalf of the Government of Nepal to stop the acts against the constitution and the law in the name of the movement and to cancel the registration of the party for doing such acts.
