Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has returned home. She went to China at the invitation of the Chinese government and the Chinese Communist Party's foreign department and returned home this morning.
Industry, Commerce and Supply Minister Damodar Bhandari, who accompanied him on his visit to China, informed the press conference held at Tribhuvan International Airport that the visit was successful and fruitful. Mentioning that the visit strengthened the relationship between the two countries, Minister Bhandari said that the visit established economic and diplomatic relations.
'Visit The relationship between the two countries has been strengthened," Minister Bhandari said. "The visit has become more successful for the implementation of historical relations, common recognition and prior agreement between Nepal and China." He said that during the visit, the Chinese high officials expressed their happiness that now the joint government of Nepali Congress and UML has brought political stability to Nepal.
During her visit to China, former President Bhandari met with the Vice President of China, the head of the Foreign Affairs Department of the Chinese Communist Party and others.
Former President Bhandari along with Minister Bhandari, UML Foreign Department Head Raghuvir Mahaseth, Permanent Committee Member Karna Bahadur Thapa visited China. Former President Bhandari met with high-ranking Chinese officials and top leaders of the Chinese Communist Party when she was in Beijing and Gansu Province.
