Congress leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula has said that the constitution should be amended to ensure the rights of the people.

While inaugurating the Bagmati state-level presidential running shield competition starting from Saturday in Charikot of Dolakha, leader Sitaula claimed that the constitution will be amended with the consent of all parties. "The time has come for all parties to unite for the benefit of the country," he said.

He said that the country's economy has not yet improved. He emphasized that the demands of the people should be addressed even by mobilizing limited resources and means. 

On Saturday, leader Sitaula has laid the foundation stone of the new building of Congress Dolakha's party office, BP Foundation.

Bagmati Province's sports budget will double: Minister Kafle

Bagmati Province's Economic Affairs and Planning Minister Kundanraj Kafle has said that the province's sports budget will double. 

Minister Kafle, while speaking at the inauguration program of the Bagmati state-level presidential running shield competition starting from Saturday in Charikot, said that the state government will increase investment in sports. "The Bagmati state government has prepared a budget to invest twice as much in sports than last year," he said.
