The statement of the civic leader that the republic has been questioned due to the presence of the same face in the leadership of the party for a long time
Leaders of the civil society have said that since the leadership of the political party has been with the same face for a long time, questions are being raised about the republic. While the RPP and some monarchist groups are protesting on the streets demanding the restoration of the monarchy, the pro-republican civil society leaders said in a dialogue program titled 'The Republic is the Right Way' organized in Lalitpur on Saturday that the three top leaders of the major parties should bid farewell to politics.
Congress General Minister Gagan Thapa said that with the top leadership of major parties taking a break, the current movement will disappear like water bubbles. It is a big problem to have the same face in the leadership of the party for a long time. If the leaders of the three major parties take a leave, the movement of royalists will end,'' said Thapa, 'so purity is the main need in political parties today.'
He said that the problem is not the highway but the driver sitting in the driving seat. Yes, there is a problem of corruption and mismanagement. This may be the death of our dream. However, the question is not dead, there is no need to be afraid,' Thapa said, 'Today, the questions have come to the republic. Today, the hero who is called the king is hiding inside the four walls. They should also be questioned today.'
United Samajwadi General Secretary Ghanshyam Bhusal said that there is no difference between Panchayat elders and leaders. "Parties have been panchayatized and leaders have become kings," he said, "There is no danger of the republic as a system." However, if the government does not run properly, citizens will always suffer," he said. He said that because the face and role of the same person has not been strengthened for a long time, dissatisfaction has increased at the civil level. "There should be a conference to find out where we have become worthless by holding such programs," he said, "Parties cannot be improved in democracy."
Leaders of United Socialist Party Ramkumari Jhankri said that instead of being responsible, leaders have led the society to despair by showing talismanic dreams that they cannot fulfill. We politicized the society over the republic, moved towards populism. Corruption and misrule increased. The trend of exploiting the resources of the state has increased," she said. "Even now, they are trying to allocate 21 billion rupees and give it to MPs. The money given to MPs means 100 percent corruption.
Mahesh Maske, the leader of the civil society, said that since the dream of removing the distortions of the monarchy could not be fulfilled, the question about the republic would be raised. "There is an agreement between the leaders overnight for the chair of power, but there is no agreement in the direction of establishing the system and removing distortions and injustice," he said. In the ceremony, Sushil Pyakurel, Yogesh Bhattarai, Shiv Village, Kanakamani Dixit, Tikaram Bhattarai, Nirmala Sharma, Anil Jha, Thakur Gayre and Pasang Sherpa and others said that the crisis in the republic is not due to anyone else but the work style and behavior of the top leadership of the republican major party.
