The district health crisis management committee meeting of Parsa has decided to make the check at the border crossing effective in view of the possible risk of covid.
Parsa chief district officer Ganesh Aryal chaired the meeting held on Thursday, the committee meeting decided to adopt health vigilance in the district considering the possible risk of covid due to the emergence of covid infected patients in neighboring countries India and Nepal.
'In view of the possible risk of covid, it has been decided to make the checks at the border more effective and to request all concerned to take the necessary surveillance and health precautions,' Prazia Aryal said, 'It has been decided to make the health desk more effective for travelers entering from Indian land, and arrange for systematic screening by staffing the health desk, including security personnel, as needed.' The
meeting has requested instructions to hospitals and health institutions to be prepared. Similarly, it has also requested not to refer suspected patients to other hospitals. The meeting has also decided to ensure the stock of life saving equipment used in the case of covid infections including masks, sanitizers, oxygen etc. It has also been decided to request the related agencies to provide the withheld wages as there have been complaints from the employees posted at the entry point that they have not received the salary benefits that they should have received in the past.
Likewise, it is mentioned in the decision to request the Ministry of Health and Population to provide the required number of RDT test kits and PCR and vaccines for the tests related to the covid infection. Similarly, all local levels have been requested to adopt necessary health safety precautions in addition to increasing public awareness regarding Covid.
