The Kathmandu administration has declared the area around the Narayanhiti Darbar Museum as a prohibited area. Chief District Officer of Kathmandu, Rishi Ram Tiwari, issued a notice on Friday and announced the restricted area till June 24 with effect from tomorrow Saturday.
According to the notice, a restricted area has been declared from Kesarmahal Chowk to Narayanhiti Durbar Museum South Gate to Jayanepal Turn and through Mahendra Salik to Narayanhiti Durbar Museum South Gate .
Chief District Officer Tiwari has stated that it is prohibited to gather more than five people in designated areas and hold protest programs such as fasting, dharna, cordon, procession, demonstration and meeting.
