Speaker Devraj Ghimir called the chief whips and whips of the major parties for a discussion before the meeting of the Working Arrangement Consultative Committee after the opposition parties blocked the parliament demanding the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Sukhar over the visit visa issue.
Maoist Chief Whip Hitraj Pandey said after the discussion that the Maoists have decided not to allow the Parliament to function until the Home Minister Ramesh Ukhtar resigns.
He said that a parliamentary party meeting was called on the 19th.
