President Ramchandra Paudel has said that the biggest enemy of the republic is procrastination, irregularity and disorder. Giving greetings on the occasion of the Republic Day, 2082, he said that political achievements alone are not enough to connect the republic with the lives of the citizens and for that, we need to change the character of our government.
Similarly, President Paudel insists on changing the character of government, politics, party and leaders. In the message, he said, 'We have to change the character of our government. I think that in order to achieve the significance of the excellence of the republic, we should not delay in making our politics, our governance style, political parties and people's representative organizations fully democratic, fair, competitive, just and effective.'
President Paudel insists on working in such a way that the citizens who have a beautiful dream of a democratic republic should not be disappointed. "Until the light of hope is lit in every citizen's life, the goal of the federal democratic republic, which we have exchanged with blood and sweat, will not be fulfilled," he said. They are looking for social justice arrangements. None of this is possible without economic development, so all should be taken seriously.'
President Paudel has said that hope will be awakened only by changing the standard of living of citizens by making maximum use of the available resources. President Paudel mentioned that the republic is not only a political system, but also a behavioral politics, economic and social life system, and said that history cannot be fulfilled by forgetting its values and moral boundaries.
President Paudel said that the democratic republic is one of the best political system in the world and it has been made even better in Nepal by infusing it with the essence of socialism with federalism, inclusiveness, social justice and democratic values.
