Opposition parties, including the main opposition, protested in the meeting of the House of Representatives demanding the resignation of the Home Minister over the 'visit visa' issue.
The meeting called for 11:00 in the morning started almost two hours late. As soon as Speaker Devraj Ghimire started the meeting, the opposition party protested again. The

"We have been wanting to get information about the work of the upper house since a long time ago, that was completed today," he said. He said that he used his spare time to sit in the audience and get information about the meeting of the National Assembly. He said that although the meeting and operation of the National Assembly was similar to that of the House of Representatives, it was fun.
When four MPs of the House of Representatives were present as spectators, the member of the National Assembly Gopi Bahadur Sarki Achhami was expressing his views. MP Farooqui said that they had been out for some time with direct information about the National Assembly meeting.
The functioning of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly is regular and similar. However, in terms of debate and discussion, the upper house is considered more organized than the lower house.
