Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar has said that it is unfair to involve himself in the investigation of the employee in the case of visit visa. In a press conference at Parliament House in Naya Baneshwar on Wednesday, the Home Minister said that he should resign as there was no complaint against him and there was no investigation.

'There is no situation in which the then leadership has resigned even though there have been reports in the media at various times and there has been a prosecution by the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority. I don't want to say more than that. I don't want to name any honorable leader . I will not be prejudiced against anyone,' said the Home Minister writer.

In addition, the author has also demanded justice through a press conference saying that injustice has been done to him. 'I should get justice too! That I am a citizen of this country who should not get justice? Have a complaint with me? Where is the investigation being conducted against me? But I should be able to ask for justice!,' he said.

Noting that many ministers did not resign when there was news and investigation earlier, the Home Minister said further, 'how is it possible if the investigation on the employees is linked to the political leadership with political insistence and bias? I'm not accusing . I am not even biased. I said that there are news about the involvement of honorable home ministers in some matters. Now the Constitutional Commission and the police are investigating the matter ? Did honorable home ministers resign ?'

The opposition parties, including the main opposition party Maoists, are obstructing the House of Representatives with the demand that the Home Minister should resign over the visit visa issue. Even though it was called for 11 am on Wednesday, the opposition parties maintained their stance that the Home Minister should resign.

On Tuesday, the House of Representatives meeting was adjourned without entering the regular agenda due to opposition parties' opposition. On Thursday, May 15th, the government will present the budget for the next fiscal year. Among the opposition parties, Aoist and RSVP have said that they will not obstruct the program of presenting the budget.
