The National Independent Party has demanded the formation of a high-level inquiry commission to investigate the human trafficking and visit visa cases.

Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, RSVP MP Shishir Khanal demanded the formation of a high-level investigation commission to investigate organized crime and money laundering on the employees including the Home Minister in the case of visit visas. He mentioned that in the case of visit visa, everything from manpower to airlines and from employees to the secretariat of the home minister is also connected.

He warned that the Parliament will not be allowed to function until the Home Minister Ramesh Akhtar resigns and the investigation begins.

He said, 'This is not a matter of an employee asking for a bribe from a citizen when he went to apply for citizenship. It has connected secretariats from manpower to airlines, from employees to ministers. The question has been raised on the minister. There should be research. Resignation should come. But we are not only asking for resignation. There should be an impartial investigation into this corruption done in an organized manner. Parliament cannot function until a high-level commission of inquiry is formed to investigate organized crime and money laundering.

The House of Representatives meeting on Tuesday was adjourned for half an hour after the opposition parties raised slogans demanding the resignation of the Home Minister.
