A writ has been registered in the Supreme Court raising questions about the competence of the newly appointed Governor Vishwanath Paudel.
Advocates including Vishal Thapa have registered the writ today. Prime Minister and Cabinet Office, Ministry of Finance, Governor's Recommendation Committee, Nepal Rashtra Bank Central Office have also been made respondents in the writ. The writ is scheduled to be heard on Wednesday.
Earlier, the writ petition submitted demanding to stop Paudel from being appointed as the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank was tabled by the Supreme Court.
