One more pedestrian has died in a bus accident in Thaha Municipality-3 of Tribhuvan Rajpath. Raghunandan Yadav, 33, of Siraha Aurahi Municipality, has died. He died on Monday night during treatment at a trauma center in Kathmandu.
With his death, the number of deaths due to bus brake failure has reached three. Three people were injured. One injured person is being treated in Kathmandu. District Police Office Makwanpur informed that two people are being treated at primary health center Palung.
34-year-old Krishna Balami of Thaha Municipality-9, Lokendra Kumar Thakur-5 of Saptari Bishnupur and 33-year-old Raghunandan Yadav of Siraha Aurahi Municipality have been killed in the collision of the bus. Thakur and Yadav are teachers of Thaka Municipality Jhamkeshwari High School. Balami and Thakur died during treatment at Palung Primary Health Center.
The injured Kamlesh Kumar Sah is being treated in Kathmandu. 32-year-old Chheyang Dorj Lama of Bara Jitpur Simra and 30-year-old Ramgulam Chaudhary of Bara Kolbi were injured. Chaudhary and Lama are being treated at Palung Primary Health Center. Three dead and three injured are pedestrians .
Thaha Municipality-3 When the brake of the bus No. 3 B 5990 going from Shikharkot Bazar to Thanabazar failed, the bus hit six people who were walking on the road and the bus rammed into the house of Bharat Gopali, Deputy Mayor of Thaha Municipality. Bus Driver Makwanpur Thaha Municipality-5 Basant 29-year-old Rajesh Karki is under police custody.
