At present, there is influence of western wind and local wind in the country. The water vapor air from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea also has a partial effect.
According to the Weather Forecast Division, the weather will be mostly clear to partly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country, including Kosi, Madhes, Bagmati and Sudurpaschim Provinces.
This afternoon there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in a few places in the hilly areas of the country including Kosi Province, Madhes Province, Bagmati Province, Sudurpaschim Province and one or two places in the rest of the country. The department has also informed that there is a possibility of light rain/snowfall in one or two places of the country's high hills and Himalayan areas.
There is a possibility of snowfall with light rain at one or two places in the Himalayan region. Due to the possibility of light to moderate rain with lightning in one or two places of the seven provinces, the division has requested to take necessary vigilance as it may affect daily life, agriculture, health, road and air transport.
