At present, there is influence of western wind and local wind in the country. The water vapor air from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea also has a partial effect.

According to the Weather Forecast Division, the weather is mostly clear to partly cloudy in the rest of the hilly areas including Koshi, Madhes and Bagmati provinces. Light to moderate rain with lightning is occurring in few places of Bagmati province and one or two places of Koshi, Madhes, Gandaki and Karnali provinces. 

This afternoon, there is a chance of light to moderate rain with thundershowers in one or two places, with partly to mostly cloudy skies in all seven provinces. There is a possibility of snowfall with light rain at one or two places in the Himalayan region. 

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with lightning in one or two places of the seven provinces, as it may affect daily life, agriculture, health, road and air transport, the division has requested to take necessary precautions.
