The hearing on the arrest warrant writ of Ravi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASWPA), has ended.

Lamichhane was released on bail by District Court Rupandehi in the Supreme Cooperative fraud case of Batuwal. However, after the High Court of Butwal overturned the bail order and sent it to the preliminary hearing, Lamichhane filed a petition against this also in the Supreme Court.

Lamichhane's wife, Nikita Paudel, filed a petition for arrest warrant in the Supreme Court saying that her husband was detained illegally.
