The driver's license will be printed by the security printing center from the end of June. According to the agreement reached on Friday between the Transport Management Department under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport and the Security Printing Center, the center will print driver's licenses from the middle of June.
Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Devendra Dahal said that this decision was taken to solve the problems faced by common people due to not getting their driver's license for a long time.
Driver's license has been included in the 'Nagarik App' to end the obligation to carry the receipt of revenue if you do not get a license immediately. At present, the traffic police has been regulating and paying fines through the same app.
Minister Dahal said that driver's license should be printed on time for a sustainable solution and directed to find an alternative to provide agile and fast service.
According to the agreement between the two parties, it is mentioned in the agreement letter that the security printing center will print the first phase and hand it over to the department by the end of next June.
The letter was signed by Devraj Dhungana, Executive Director of Security Printing Center and Rajeev Pokharel, Director General of Transport Management Department. The Security Printing Center will print the driving license along with the QR.
