Chairman of Maoist Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that he is taking people's suggestions and criticism seriously and is moving the party forward.
In the interactive program organized by Madhyapahari Lokmarg Jansamwad Abhiyan team led by President Dahal today at Jajarkot headquarters, he said that he has launched a campaign to connect the party with the people. According to the private secretariat of President Dahal, he informed that another purpose of the campaign is to monitor the status of the development and construction projects initiated by the Maoists. People's representatives, political parties, employees, journalists, civil society representatives participated in the
program. In Jajarkot, development projects such as Bheri Corridor, Madhyapahari Lokmarg, Lumbini-Rara Lokmarg have progressed, roads have reached villages, but the work of Nalgad hydropower project is still stopped, and it was emphasized that it should be given priority.
Chairman Dahal said that the party took people's suggestions seriously. He drew the attention of the government to provide adequate relief to those affected by the Jajarkot earthquake. He also urged the government to increase the effectiveness of federalism by addressing the people's grievances that the rights could not be delegated according to the essence of federalism.
