The foreign minister again requested the special envoy of Qatar for the release of Bipin

Foreign Minister Dr. Arju Rana Deuba has asked Qatar's Special Envoy on Climate Change and Sustainability of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take more initiatives for Bipin Joshi's condition and repatriation.

Minister Dr. Rana made this request during a meeting on Friday with Badr Umar Ismail Al Dafa, the special envoy of Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who came to Kathmandu to participate in the Everest Dialogue. During the courtesy meeting with Foreign Minister Dr. Rana, there was a conversation about the situation of Vipin Joshi, a Nepali youth who was abducted by Hamas. 

Minister Dr. Rana expressed her gratitude for the efforts made by Qatar for the release of Vipin Joshi and his return to Nepal and again requested to continue the initiative on this matter and to take more initiatives for Joshi's release. 

Minister Dr. Rana has repeatedly requested Qatar's foreign minister and the chief mediator of Hamas' peace talks with Israel to take the necessary steps for the release of Vipin. 

Since 2023, Minister Dr. Rana has been requesting the world community to support the release and repatriation of Nepali student Vipin Joshi, who has been held hostage by Hamas. Also, during the meeting on Friday, Minister Dr. Rana expressed her gratitude for Qatar's participation in the Everest Dialogue and talked about the cooperation that can be done to reduce the impact of climate change in the future.
