Forest and Environment Minister Ain Bahadur Shahi Thakuri and Bhutan's Energy and Natural Resources Minister Jem Chiring held a meeting on Saturday. A meeting was held between Forest Minister Shahi and Bhutan's Energy Minister Chhiring on the occasion of the first edition of 'Sagarmata Dialogue 2025' organized by the Nepal government.

"Through mountain diplomacy, we can effectively present the common interests of the mountain region," he said. During the

meeting, Forest Minister Shahi also mentioned that Nepal and Bhutan are determined to create a common strategy for climate justice, adaptation finance, technology transfer and compensation.
