Two women who were out for a morning visit in Buddhbhoomi municipality-1 Vasantpur died in a car collision.

They were hit by a car number BAD 9599 heading towards Gorusinge on the Gorusinge-Arghakhanchi road section this morning, informed Virat Sharma Paudel, police inspector of the area police office, Gorusinge. 

60-year-old Shanta Khatri and 65-year-old Tilkumari Rayamazhi, who were seriously injured in the accident, died on the way while being taken to Kapilvastu Hospital, Taulihwa for treatment.

Khimraj Shrestha, 32-year-old resident of Saina Maina Municipality-5 of Rupandehi, the driver of the car, has been detained by the police and the investigation has started.
