The Embassy of Nepal in Saudi Arabia has started the necessary initiative to bring back Nepali workers who are unemployed in Sendan International Company located in Jubail.
Some of the 469 Nepali citizens who became unemployed due to the collapse of the employer company requested to provide salary allowances and take initiatives to return to Nepal and transfer to other companies. Following the worker's request, the embassy said that it is continuously taking diplomatic initiatives to solve the problem.
In case of those who want to return to Nepal, the necessary documents have been sent to the relevant labor office of the Saudi government for the exit visa, according to the Nepali Embassy.
The embassy said that the necessary steps have been taken to request the issuance of exit visas to the Nepali workers who are willing to go to Nepal from Saudi Arabia, and especially to those working in Sendan International Company.
In the case of those who want to return to Nepal, the negotiations and discussions in the Ministry of Labor and other related bodies of the Saudi government have progressed positively to facilitate the necessary process for those who want to return to Nepal after completing the legal basis for receiving the remaining service facilities and for those who want to transfer to other companies in Saudi Arabia and get employment.
Nepali citizens who are in trouble have been asked to be patient and contact the embassy if they have any problems related to food, accommodation or health.
