The Government of India has provided 15 electric vehicles as support for the first edition of the Everest Dialogue.

Those vehicles provided under the Nepal India Cooperation Program were handed over to Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba by Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava in a ceremony held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday.

On that occasion, Minister Rana expressed his gratitude to the Government of India for the support provided for the Everest Dialogue organized by Nepal. He emphasized that since climate change is not only Nepal's problem but also a common challenge in this region, mutual coordination and collective efforts of all are necessary to solve it.

The Everest dialogue program organized by Nepal highlighted the common problems of this region related to climate change and informed that a model of collective effort will be set for finding solutions to it and said that the support of the Indian government in this is remarkable. Minister Rana informed that the entire preparation for the Everest Dialogue held on May 16-18 has reached its final stage and now the Nepalese government is waiting to welcome foreign dignitaries and guests.

On that occasion, Ambassador Srivastava discussed the support provided by the Indian government in the economic, social and other fields of Nepal and expressed her happiness for being able to provide vehicles for the Everest Dialogue.
